Well another week is gone, and a new one is upon us! Things have been rather calm. I did have to take Kyle to the doctor on Thursday. His nose just won't stop running, and I always get scared that he has another ear infection. His ears are infection free, which we are thrilled about, but one is a little blocked. We have to get it open, so that he doesn't get an infection. It's blocked with drainage, that is one of my goals...to get his ear clear! He has had the worst diaper rash. I got some new stuff to help with it though, and it works wonders! It's called Corona. When my friend, Lisa first told me about it, I thought she was talking about the beer. I've heard of some wierd things, but putting beer on my child's bottom is probably drawing the line. But no, it is not the beer. It's actually for horses. And it works great! I have a feeling that we will be going back to the doctor next week, b/c he's not clearing up, and she wants to start looking into sinusitis and all that. I just feel bad for the guy.
On the way back from the doctor I got rear ended by this 90 year old man, who didn't even realize he had run into me. How scary is that? When he hit me, I was on the phone with Nathan, and I got out of the car and walked back to his, and he was just staring at me like, "Can I help you?" I told him that I think he just ran into me, and he was like, "Oh, I didn't know that." It didn't do any damage, so I just went on my way. I love the elderly, but that is really scary!
We all went to the game Saturday, and that's all I'm really going to say about that. Although, it made me really mad. Tech fans are so fair weathered! The kids and I left just after the 2nd quarter started, b/c we were on the side where no one sits down, and that's just not fun holding a 30+ pound weight on your hip. But like all the students were leaving and cussing when it was going down hill. I just wanted to yell at them to grow up. If you're a fan, then you're a fan through the good and the bad. And if you're not, then you're not really a fan at all. And besides that, we weren't even in the student section, but a lot of young people were sitting where we were. (We were not in our usual seats) And some of the things they yell out loud, hello...earmuffs!!!! There are children around!!!! I don't plan on bringing my children back for a while. Or I'll go find all the old people and sit with them. I just hope they don't run into my car.
But it was a very valiant effort to spend some family time together, and that is what's most important!
Okay, so one more thing, and then I'm going to go. I don't generally talk about work, but I'm going to go out on a limb here. I'm a salaried employee, and I don't get paid for overtime. That being said, why would they start asking a "few" of us to start clocking in? They told about 6 girls up there, me included, that we have to start clocking in and out. I'm a little offended. Well actually they didn't tell me anything, I was at the doctor's office when they implemented this new rule. I'm not sure how I feel about that. Actually, I'm very aware of how I feel, I'm just not sure what to do about it. It's not just that instance, this is something in a long line of other things that have happened.
Anyways, well that's about it. I hope you all have a good week.

I am glad Corona is working for you! I may have already told you this, but put it on thick and don't rub it in. It works better and faster that way. I did not actually read the directions with my first child and it has been more effective with Liv! Praying about your work situation.
Man, sometimes work sux. I totally understand. That's weird of them to do that to you guys. Oh well........
Hope you have a great rest of the week!
