Voting...
I hope you all took your patriotic duty seriously yesterday and voted. If you're in Texas anyways. This election to me is pretty intriguing this go around. Yesterday when I went and voted it was interesting to me the people that were there. It seems it has brought people from all walks of life out. I'm not exactly sure if it's for all the right reasons, but I think it's nice that maybe it has stirred some emotion in some of us anyways.
Madi wanted me to vote for the girl. I'm not saying who I voted for, but I did what I never thought I would do, I will say that. Looks like a lot of us did!
And really the way I see it, isn't God still king? When it comes down to it, does it really matter who's president, because last time I checked God was still in control. So, I'm not working myself into any sort of panic over something that I see that God has the last word on anyways! :)

I thought the interesting thing about people voting was all the people I heard say they were voting democrate instead of republican. There comment was they went to vote for Hillary only because they thought McCain had a better chance of beating her than Obama.
You know how I feel. I will just say there are a lot of smart people in Texas!
Trey's comment was interesting, I guess I never really thought of it that way(Mccain beating clinton). And I agree, even my family voted...democrat! Or ARE going to vote democrat. My mom said something I didn't think I'd ever hear her say," I'm voting for the person, not the party." wow.
Larissa you are a traitor!! I'm just kidding. Honestly what are the differences between being a democrat and republican? Not much. I know many conservative demos and many liberal repubs. I know that there have been some people that I have voted for (they are republicans, locally) that I would vote in any party to get them out of office. I think that voting for the person is the right thing to do. I think it is more important to follow your conscience. And as far as who anybody votes for, some of us just have to agree to disagree. :)
Why are people not making a difference for Huckabee???
This election makes me sick to my stomache. I don't even like to think about it very much. I thought I was for Obama at one time and am still impressed with him to an extent.
Sometimes the good guys finish last, okay a lot of the time. Another question I will not have the answer to until I die!
I nearly did what I think you did!!! I thought about it for a good two weeks, and then chickened out and voted for the guy I really like - He didn't win either!
Sorry Larissa, my comment is actually towards Lisa...I so agree about Huckabee. He was my choice and I think he would have made a great president. He (seems to be) a good Christian man who wants to serve our country in the best possible way. Too bad...maybe next time.
This is going to be an interesting election. I have to say I am surprised Hillary won the state. I really wanted Huckabee to win but I new it was a long shot.
Have you been to the concert yet? If so how was George?
Jenny
I bet you can't wait for George tomorrow night!
