Time
I picked up my Bible today, and just opened where I had my church bulletin. It was in the section of Ecclesiastes that talks about time.
"For everything there is a season,
a time for every activity under heaven.
A time to be born and time to die.
A time to plant and a time to harvest.
A time to kill and a time to heal.
A time to tear down and a time to build up.
A time to cry and a time to laugh.
A time to grieve and a time to dance.
A time to scatter stones and a time to gather stones.
A time to embrace and a time to turn away.
A time to tear and a time to mend.
A time to be quiet and a time to speak.
A time to love and a time to hate.
A time for war and a time for peace.
God has made everything beautiful for it's own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God's work from beginning to end. So I concluded there is nothing better than to be happy and enjoy ourselves as long as we can."
I needed to read this today. I easily get caught up in "me" and what's going on in my life...what I like, what I don't like. And really, does it matter? Should I not just take today for what it is and be happy with the time I have. It all changes so quickly anyways, why not enjoy today? :)

We all need to be reminded of that now and again. Good thoughts!

Our time and times are in His hands.

You have a really great outlook on life and it really seems that God has used this situation you are going through to strengthen you- and you are using that to strengthen others. I appreciate your attitude! :)
Very cool post, good to hear.
I actually will be gone next week. I am leaving Sat (tom.) to go home for spring break. I haven't been for a whole week in over a year so I am really looking forward to it. I may be back early if Em goes into labor. I definately want to be here for that. I would love to get together when we get back though. I will be needing a break by then I am sure!
It's been forever and I will read through your old posts later. Gotta get ready for Madi's "Aunts and donuts".
Thank you for this post. I need to value my "time" more. It is so good to hear happiness in your "voice".
Wow! I am so glad that God's timing is right on time. It is so easy to get caught up in ourselves, I needed to read that today.
Yes, I am Aislynn's mommy! :) Feel free to stop by as often as you'd like!
